I am an independent English to Welsh translator who has worked on a freelance basis since 1989. Welsh is my mother tongue. I offer a reliable and professional translation service into Welsh – from letters, posters and short brochures to large documents, tenders and books. All translations are independently checked before being sent out to clients. I also use CySill, the Welsh spell-checker, and the excellent Welsh Academy English-Welsh Dictionary. All work is covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance.

I graduated in Welsh at the University of Wales, Bangor, in 1988 and am a full member of the Institute of Translation & Interpreting (ITI); the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL); and the Society of Welsh Translators. I am a Welsh Language Board approved translator and an examiner for the ITI.
